The Operations Engineer focuses on assisting customers with the configuration, customization, and integration of autonomous mobile robot systems. This role involves leading onboarding of new robots, providing technical support, delivering training, gathering feedback, and building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Robotic System Deployment & Commissioning
Lead full-stack integration of robotic systems, including hardware assembly, sensor calibration, and software configuration. Conduct acceptance testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements.
Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis
Perform in-depth troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. Use diagnostic tools, logs, and data traces to identify system-level failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Systems Optimization & Reliability Engineering
Continuously monitor system health, benchmark performance, and fine-tune localization, navigation, and control parameters. Apply structured engineering methods to increase robustness and uptime in mission-critical environments.
Technical Training & Handover
Equip customer engineering teams with advanced operational and maintenance knowledge. Provide training on diagnostic workflows, failure recovery, and preventive maintenance, ensuring technical autonomy in the field.
Engineering Documentation & Feedback Loop
Develop and maintain precise technical documentation, from integration playbooks to troubleshooting protocols. Feed structured insights back to R&D to drive improvements in system architecture, hardware design, and software algorithms.
