Senior SLAM Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

Help our robots localize in the world, no matter how harsh the environmental conditions! You'll be part of the "SLAM & Perception" team, which drives all developments for endowing our robots with a profound understanding of the world. Advanced localization and mapping capabilities are at the core of this.
At NODE, we work together through mutual support and close collaboration on all pending tasks and with a clear vision: Help our customers deploy autonomous mobile robots at scale by providing the best software solutions in the market.
Here's your role in a nutshell:

Drive the development of our multi-modal Live SLAM package for mobile robots in industrial settings within the “SLAM & perception” team
Conceptualize and implement new algorithms for adding new sensor sources and improved capabilities of our SLAM.
Test and evaluate our software components in simulation and real-world application with different hardware and mobile robots

Your profile

Several years of professional experience in at least one of the following fields: SLAM, sensor fusion, computer vision
Very strong programming skills in C++17 (or higher), experience with Linux and ROS is a plus
Experience in collaborative software development and in building industrial-grade products
Highly self-motivated, eager to learn and to reach ambitious goals with our expert team
